How to bookmark all tabs in Google Chrome

If you’ve ever done long hours of online research, you’ve probably found yourself in a situation where you’re ready to quit but stuck with a bunch of open tabs you might need later. You could leave your computer on, or try to bookmark each tab individually, but there’s actually a much easier way. Below is how to bookmark all open tabs in Google Chrome.

Since the writing of this article, Chrome has moved the Bookmark all tabs... option to a different location.

Step 1: Click the 3 dots at the upper right hand corner of Google Chrome

Step 2: Hover over Bookmarks and select Bookmark all tabs...

Step 3: In the Bookmark all tabs window, type a folder name in the Name field for where your bookmarks will be saved and then click Save.

Step 1: Right click any of your open tabs and select Bookmark all tabs...

Step 2: In the Bookmark all tabs window, type a folder name in the Name field for where your bookmarks will be saved and then click Save.

That’s it! You should now find the bookmarked tabs in the bookmarks bar under the folder you just created.

Now that you have all these bookmarks, why don’t you try sorting them alphabetically or organizing them in folders?
